I have started my New Years resolution list. One of the items on my list is to make time to play in some of my favorite challenges. Catch The Bug is definitely one of my favorites.

E-Cuts on Sale!

Happy Saturday! It is nice to be home. I do love visiting family on holidays, but it is so  nice when you get home, back in your comfy bed...ahhh...

So I thought I would check out some of the sales going on, and there sure are a lot of them. I found these digital printouts over at Scrapbook.com called E-Cuts.

E-Cuts are printable scrapbooking supplies that you download, print, cut-out and use on your layouts and other paper projects. What I love about these is there are several printouts within one theme. It gives you practically everything you need to put a quick card together. But these can also be used for tags, title boxes, photo mats, journaling boxes and much more.

They usually cost $2.00, but are on sale right now for .99! The link below will take you to these fun digital images, so be sure to check them out. They were a great find and I wanted to share with you all! Happy shopping!

ATC Card Inspiration

Hello all!
I wanted to share with you an ATC I made using an image from Create with TLC.
Many of you are very familiar with Paulette as she offers wonderful freebie's daily She had asked if I wanted to create an ATC using one of her images and I jumped at the opportunity.

This image is called Anniversary Dinner Vintage Collage and worked perfect for an ATC.

I used various Tim Holtz items to create a vintage feel. I was very happy with the way the ATC came out and I am sure you will be seeing it on one of my future cards.

I was so glad that Paulette offered up this opportunity to be featured on her blog!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Many of us are celebrating Thanksgiving today! It is a time that we can gather with family and friends, share a meal and be thankful for all that we have.

I also wanted to say how Thankful I am to have found this wonderful blogging community. I have made some wonderful friends along the way and have really enjoyed sharing all of my creations as well as being inspired by all of yours.

You have helped me go outside the box and try new techniques and I have had a lot of fun along the way. So for those of you that are not celebrating today, I still want to say I am thankful for you and all you share!

Thank You Bunches

Whenever I think of Thank  You cards, flowers always come to mind. They are the perfect way to say Thank You. What do you think of when you make Thank You cards? Don't tell me, show me over at our challenge this week at The Crafter's Cafe

Theme: Thank You
Sponsor:  Oak Pond Creations

This image is called Georgia's Daisies.

I just love daisies! Not they are not my favorite, but close to it. My favorite being Sunflowers. They kind of look like small sunflowers don't they?

Well in any case, they are beautiful and they make a perfect Thank you card.
With Christmas coming upon us, we probably will need a few Thank You cards, so this is a perfect opportunity to play along.

Riley & Co. - Recipe Challenge

Our theme this week over at Riley & Company is a Recipe Challenge!

Love the fun sentiment that works so well with the Riley stamps! There are several in the store that are just perfectly matched with our images.

So Suzy Stamps - Design Team

I have some exciting news! I have been invited to be on the Design Team over at So Suzy Stamps!

Now, until a few weeks ago, I was not familiar with Suzy, but I was fortunate to see her Design Team Call and the rest is history. If you are not familiar with So Suzy Stamps, let me introduce you:

(From her website)

So Suzy Stamps is based in the four corners region of New Mexico. A Native of Arizona, Suzanne moved to New Mexico to be with her husband in 2012.  With promises of not having to get a “real job”, Suzanne and her honey bunny decided to take her passion of card making and classes one step further into creating her own line of stamps.  She has now assimilated half of the home for her base of operations and they are in the planning phase of creating their first So Suzy Stamps Shop.
Living in a small town in Northern New Mexico, Suzanne realized that finding the unique and fun crafting supplies was nearly impossible to locate.  So she decided to take her passion of the warm fuzzy and fun and snarky to create her stamps and to the products she carries.  The little value added stamping supplies hold a warm place in her heart and she spends her mornings scouring Instagram, looking for fun embellishments to carry on her website and in her shop.
So Suzy Stamps are manufactured in the USA, are made with the traditional red rubber, the foam is indexed and every single stamp tells a story, has a meaning and are all oh So Suzy!
Now, while I love working with the digi images, I have missed working with rubber stamps regularly! So I was very excited to be chosen for this team and given the opportunity to work with her fun images. We will start introducing her stamps beginning in December, so stay tuned, but in the meantime, be sure to check out her shop!

What will you do with today?

What will you do with today? It will never come again? So often we get caught up in our daily routines and forget how lucky we are to have today. We may not have it tomorrow.

I get it! Life is busy and sometimes complicated. Some people live for their job and that is alright too. Just don't loose sight of what is around you and most of all, what is important to you. It is easy to loose several of the hours during the day surfing the net, watching television, blogging...those are precious hours you will never get back.

When is the last time you took a walk outside, or read a good book? I am not a huge fan of exercise, but I feel so wonderful after I do it. If I pop in my earplugs and just listen to my music while I am walking, it is so much more relaxing than sitting and watching a television show. Reading is usually not my "go to" to relax, but when I get enthralled in a good book, it is hard to pull me away.

So while we are saying T.G.I.F, lets not forget to enjoy life every day and at least try to make every day memorable, not routine. Take that walk, listen to your music, read a good book, craft... Whatever it is, make time for it, because it is time you will never get back and it will be time well spent!

Colorful Horn of Plenty

Happy Thursday! For those of you in the states, we have one more week until Thanksgiving. It is interesting, not too many people sent out Thanksgiving cards, yet they make perfect Hostess gifts. Over the last several years I have hosted Thanksgiving, but not this year. I will be going to my Mom's house, and I will be giving her this little card as a way of saying "Thank You" and "Happy Thanksgiving."

I have made this card several times using different colors of alcohol ink. Each card turns out just a little differently. The alcohol inks shine on glossy paper and the image looks great with all the colors.
The paper I used was from DCWV called Rustic Stack

Here is another one with slightly different colors, similar layout, but a completely different card. This one has more of a warm tone to it.

The sentiment is from Decosse's Dynamite Doodles and is a perfect sentiment for this card.

What I love about alcohol inks is there is no right or wrong. You just combine different colors until you get the desired look you want. Simple yet beautiful!

Creative Knockouts - Bling it Up!

I am here today to share my DT card for the current challenge over at Creative Knockouts!

Theme:  Bling it Up
Image:  Fancy Dress

This little girl is all decked out in her holiday dress, ready for shopping!
I wanted to make a special little Christmas card for my niece and I thought this image was perfect for that occasion.

Now even though this was not a "Christmas" image, you can see, it was very easy to transform her into a fun little Christmas Card.

But your card for our challenge does not have to be Christmas, just has to be blingy! so get out all those embellishments and lets see what you can do.

Creative Bug Digitals - Mid Month Post

We are mid way through the month. What a great time of year, the colors are so beautiful this time of year, so we wanted to bring some of those colors into our challenge this month. This is our very last challenge over at Creative Bug on the Loose, I sure hope you can play along!

Theme: Fallen Hues Colour Challenge

It is exactly a year since I joined the design team over at Creative Bug Digitals.  Like all good things, this too must come to an end. I sure hope you like my final card.

This image is called Petrified Pumpkin and is available by clicking on the image below.

I had some fun with this card. I pulled out some of my mixed media supplies and added some grunge to it. I used a stencil along with textured paste and distressed sparkle. I even added some copper glitter to give a speckled affect.

So I hope that my last post has inspired you to play along. I have had a fun time being on the DT over at Creative Bug on the Loose and enjoyed inspiring you!
